JOIN THE ORCHESTRA

As we continue developing into a full sized symphony orchestra, we are seeking the following players:

  • Trumpet
  • Trombone
  • Tuba
  • Contrabassoon (must have own instrument)
  • Strings

If you play an instrument that isn’t listed here, please still do get in touch: sometimes we need extra players for large works, and to deputise for players who sometimes have to miss a rehearsal.

All members must be adults, and have their own instruments (we can’t provide them). Strings should be about Grade 7+ standard or equivalent. Woodwinds and brass must be Grade 8+​.

By joining the orchestra, you commit to attend the weekly rehearsals and the concert, do the appropriate personal practice, and pay membership fees. See the Constitution and Members pages for more detail. All members are required to abide by the Constitution.
